William (Bill) Marshall has had a long and successful career in the medical field. William (Bill) began their professional journey in 1986 as an Internal Medicine Resident at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. In 1992, they moved to Harvard Medical School as an Instructor in Medicine. In 2012, they joined Merck as a Principal Scientist (Director). In 2015, they became the Senior Director, Global Medical Sciences at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, followed by a promotion to Director, Global Medical Sciences. In 2018, they were appointed Vice President Medical Sciences at resTORbio. In 2020, they were hired as Vice President Clinical Development at AlloVir, an ElevateBio Company. Most recently, in 2022 they joined CinCor Pharma, Inc. as Vice President, Medical.

William (Bill) then attended Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons from 1982 to 1986, graduating with an MD in Medicine. Finally, from 1989 to 1992, they attended Harvard Medical School as a Clinical/Research Fellow in Infectious Disease.
