Sudipta Ghorui

Sudipta Ghorui has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Sudipta is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Matchpoint, where they lead the technology division and focuses on the company's Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives. Sudipta is responsible for driving the vision and execution of Matchpoint's technology initiatives and overseeing IT operations and infrastructure.

Prior to their role at Matchpoint, Sudipta held multiple leadership positions at Cineverse, including Senior Vice President and Vice President of Engineering. Sudipta played a crucial role in designing the Matchpoint product, which is a key component for various OTT platforms.

Sudipta also co-founded FoundationTV, which was later acquired by Cinedigm. As the Co-Founder and VP of Engineering, they pioneered the development of Matchpoint, which powers major OTT platforms like Dove Channel and CONtv. Sudipta was responsible for creating and managing ad-supported and subscription-based video streaming services efficiently and cost-effectively.

Additionally, Sudipta has co-founded and directed TIVINTIS MEDIA JUNCTION PRIVATE LIMITED, and has served as a Co-Founder and Senior Platform Architect at both JunctionTV and Alumnus Software Limited. Sudipta has also worked as a Senior Engineer at Ortiva Wireless and as a Software Developer at 123India.

Throughout their career, Sudipta has demonstrated expertise in technology leadership, AI, product design, and platform architecture.

Sudipta Ghorui completed a Master's in Computer Application from Biju Patnaik University of Technology from 2000-2003. Prior to that, Sudipta earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Xavier's College from 1997-2000. Before college, Sudipta completed Higher Secondary education in Mathematics at Raja Rammohon Roy Mahavidyalaya from 1994-1997. In addition to formal education, Sudipta Ghorui has obtained certifications in various machine learning and deep learning topics from deeplearning.ai in 2020. These certifications include Convolutional Neural Networks, Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
