Doug Friesen

Doug Friesen has extensive experience in the field of compensation and benefits, with a focus on leadership roles. Doug most recently worked as Vice President, Total Rewards at Cinemark since 2023. Prior to this, they served as Senior Director, Compensation at Performance Food Group from 2021 to 2023. Doug also held positions at Core-Mark International as Senior Director, Total Rewards and Director, Compensation, from 2020 to 2021. Before that, they worked as Director, Compensation & Benefits - Aviation Systems at L3Harris Technologies from 2018 to 2020, and as Director of Compensation at La Quinta Inns & Suites from 2014 to 2018. Doug also gained valuable experience at Alvarez & Marsal, Clark Consulting, and Protiviti in various compensation and benefits roles. Doug Friesen has a strong background in compensation strategy and leadership expertise in managing rewards programs.

Doug Friesen attended Kansas State University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Economics. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including "Collaborating with Microsoft 365" from LinkedIn (expected in 2023), "Inclusive Mindset" from LinkedIn (obtained in 2021), "Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner" from Prosci (obtained in 2021), and "Change Management: Roadmap to Planning" from LinkedIn (obtained in 2021).
