Sharla Jones has over 10 years of work experience in talent acquisition and recruiting. Sharla started their career as a Recruiter at Intelistaf Healthcare in 2006, where they were responsible for full-cycle recruiting activities for travel nursing healthcare employees. In 2007, they worked as a Recruiter at Countrywide Full Spectrum Lending Division, where they sourced, recruited, screened, and interviewed candidates. Sharla then joined Bank of America as an AVP, Corporate Recruiter, where they managed a consistent requisition load of 30+ openings and provided regional support for servicing sites. From 2007 to 2014, they worked at QBE North America as a Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner, leading and developing recruiting strategies, coaching a full-cycle recruiting team, and achieving the hiring plan. Sharla then shifted to Main Event Entertainment in 2014, initially as a Talent Acquisition Manager and later as the Director of Talent Acquisition. In these roles, they developed and executed recruitment strategies, oversaw the implementation of best practices, managed the talent acquisition budget, and led the branding and recruiting strategy. Currently, Sharla is the Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition at Cinemark, where they are responsible for leading the talent acquisition function and supporting the company's growth in the motion picture exhibition industry.

Sharla Jones holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Management from Prairie View A&M University, obtained before 2001.
