Heidi Bijnens

Heidi Bijnens is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in various managerial roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as HR Manager at Ciner Glass since June 2023, Heidi has established HR functions from the ground up for a new greenfield plant, focusing on organizational structure, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and learning development. Prior to this, Heidi held the position of HR Manager at Sappi from January 2016 to January 2023, where strategic HR initiatives and compliance frameworks were executed within the European context. As HR Business Partner at Arvesta from November 2013 to December 2015, Heidi developed and implemented tailored HR strategies across different divisions. Previous roles include HR Director for three family enterprises at Lambrechts NV, HR Manager at Carglass Belgium, and Recruitment Consultant at ASAP Interim/LIB Interim. Heidi holds a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from KU Leuven and an ASO degree in Latin-Mathematics from Pyxiscollege Lanaken.
