Oleg Sidorkin has worked in a variety of roles in the software development and research and development fields since 1997. In 1997, they began working as a Senior Software Developer at Modern University for the Humanities. In 1999, they became a Lead Software Developer at Craftpath Software, where they designed and implemented 3D graphical engine, special effects, cut scenes and game mechanics DSLs for the End of Twilight video game project. In 2003, they became the Director of R&D at Applied Intelligence Solutions, LLC, where they provided leadership and management for company wide research and development programs and activities. In 2008, they became the President and Director of R&D at Starks, JSC, where they established the company to provide Applied Intelligence Solutions and DemandTec, an IBM Company with hi-tech research and development services. In 2011, they became the Director of R&D at DemandTec, an IBM Company. In 2013, they became the Chief Architect at IBM AI Incubator and Architect/Technical Leader at IBM Watson Customer Engagement. In 2020, they became the Co-Founder of GoalProfit and Cinevva, and the Principal Lead Software Architect at Bluescape Software.
Oleg Sidorkin has a diverse educational background. In 2020, they completed a program in Entrepreneurship at the Founder Institute. From 2003 to 2007, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology of Russia in Systematic Analysis, Control and Treatment (on its field) of Information. From 2000 to 2002, they obtained their Master of Science (MS) from Bauman Moscow State Technical University in Engineering and Computer Science. From 1996 to 2000, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) from Bauman Moscow State Technical University in Engineering and Computer Science. Oleg also completed a program in Entrepreneurship at Techstars.
