Chartered McIpd Miriam Stephens

Miriam Stephens, Chartered MCIPD, has a diverse range of work experience. Miriam worked at CIPD from 2011 onwards, where they held various positions including Head of Organisation Assessment and CPD, Lead Consultant, and Assessment Manager. Prior to their time at CIPD, Miriam was self-employed as an L&D Consultant from 2010 to 2011. From 1999 to 2010, they worked at Transport for London, where they held roles such as Group Talent Manager, Management Development Manager, Performance Development Support Manager, and HR Graduate Trainee. In addition, Miriam took a career break in 2008 to work in tourism and marketing at Addictive Entertainment p/l.

Miriam Stephens, Chartered MCIPD, has a diverse educational background. Miriam completed their Classical Civilisations degree at The Open University from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Diploma in Creative Writing also at The Open University, which they successfully obtained from 2009 to 2011.

In terms of a formal degree, Miriam attended the School of Business and Law, University of Brighton, from 1999 to 2002, where they achieved a CIPD qualification in Human Resources.

Before their time at the University of Brighton, Miriam studied at the University of Sussex, where they earned a BA Hons (2:1) in English Literature between 1996 and 1999.

Furthermore, Miriam has additional certifications to supplement their education. Miriam completed a course on Cybersecurity at Work through LinkedIn in December 2020. Additionally, they obtained the Chartered MCIPD qualification from CIPD in September 2011.
