Tim Gouin

Tim Gouin is a mechanical engineer who currently works for Cipher Skin. Tim has been with the company for three years and one month, and has held the positions of Product & Research Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, and Mechanical Engineer Intern. Prior to working at Cipher Skin, Tim was a Project Engineer Intern at RK and a Mechanical Engineering Intern at TDA Research.

During their time at TDA Research, Tim went through an iterative design process to develop a desulfurization sensor that met the specifications of various customers. Tim also worked with manufacturers to have the sensor built at a feasible cost without sacrificing quality.

Since joining Cipher Skin, Tim has been instrumental in the development of various products. Tim has also conducted research to improve the company's products and manufacturing processes. In their current role as Mechanical Engineer, Tim is responsible for overseeing the production of Cipher Skin's products.

Tim Gouin has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master of Science in Sports Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University. Tim also has an Associate degree in SolidWorks Mechanical Design. In 2016, they studied abroad in Scandinavia focusing on biomedical engineering and biotechnology.
