Bryan Parno

Bryan Parno serves as a Technical Advisor at CipherMode Labs since October 2021 and as a Technical Advisory Board Member for the Algorand Foundation since June 2019. Since January 2017, Bryan has held the position of Associate Professor with a joint appointment in the Computer Science and Electrical & Computer Engineering Departments at Carnegie Mellon University. Previous experience includes conducting research at Microsoft Research from August 2010 to December 2016, focusing on various security topics, and interning at RSA Laboratories and Microsoft Research in 2006 and 2007. Bryan Parno earned a PhD in Computer Security from Carnegie Mellon University in 2010 and a BA in Computer Science from Harvard University in 2004.
