Benjamin Clay has worked in the IT and cybersecurity industry since 2005. Benjamin began their career in the US Air Force as a Network Infrastructure Supervisor, where they managed 23 personnel and installed and configured an $18M network infrastructure. In 2011, they joined the White House Communications Agency as a Technology Innovation Engineer, where they engineered new technology solutions and was a key member of a $2M network installation. In 2015, they moved to the US Air National Guard as a Cybersecurity Technician, where they assisted in the installation of a training lab. In 2017, they joined Lockheed Martin as a Network Security Analyst and in 2018, they joined Markesman Group as a Cybersecurity Engineer and Security Analyst. Finally, in 2021, they joined CipherTechs, Inc. as an Application Security Engineer.

Benjamin Clay has a varied educational history. From 2005 to 2010, they attended the Community College of the Air Force, where they earned an Associate in Applied Science in Electronic Systems Technology. From 2011 to 2016, they attended Trident University International and earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management. Most recently, from 2017 to 2020, they attended SANS Technology Institute and earned a Graduate Certificate in Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking. Benjamin also holds a range of certifications, including CompTIA Linux+, Certified Wireless Technology Specialist, ECSA, GWAPT, GCIH, GIAC Assessing and Auditing Wireless Networks (GAWN), Forescout Certified Administrator, GPEN, GCIA, Certified Ethical Hacker, Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator, CompTIA Cloud Essentials, Network Plus, and Security Plus.
