Jonelle S.

Jonelle S. is currently the Director of Investigations and Co-Chair of the Defenders League at CipherTrace. Jonelle also holds the role of Adjunct Professor at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey since 2021. In 2020, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Graduate Student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, and held the roles of Treasurer of Veterans Organization and President of MIIS UN Association, where they co-coordinated an International Women's Day fundraiser. In 2019, they were a U.S. Mission to the International Organizations at the U.S. Department of State and a Critical Languages Scholarship at the American Councils for International Education.

Jonelle S. has a diverse educational background. Jonelle obtained their Master of Arts in Trade and Economic Diplomacy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey between 2018 and 2020. During the same time period, they also completed a Master of Arts in International Policy and Development. Additionally, Jonelle S. completed a Summer Intensive Language Program in Arabic at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey in 2018. Jonelle also holds several certifications, including Certified Cryptocurrency Risk Specialist (CCRS) - Tier I from CipherTrace obtained in April 2021, AI in Fintech Essential Training from LinkedIn obtained in April 2020, Cryptocurrency Foundations from LinkedIn obtained in April 2020, Financial Basics Everyone Should Know from LinkedIn obtained in April 2020, and Cryptocurrency Tracing Certified Examiner (CTCE) from CipherTrace obtained in March 2020.
