David Godlove has held positions in a number of companies, beginning with an In Home Service Provider role at Creative Family Solutions in 2004. David later worked as a Doctoral Candidate at Vanderbilt University from 2007 to 2013, then transitioned to a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from 2013 to 2015. After that, David worked as a Computational Biologist at Sapient Government Services from 2015 to 2017, then moved into a Release Manager and Community Advocate role at Sylabs Inc. from 2017 to 2019. Following their tenure at Sylabs Inc., they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at RStor - (Stealth) - Network is Storage in 2017, before taking on the role of Solutions Architect at Ctrl IQ, Inc. in 2022. In their current role, David helps administer Biowulf (the world's largest supercomputer for Biomedical research), develops new technologies, designs and teaches classes, and consults on policy decisions.
David Godlove attended Westmoreland County Community College from 2002-2004, studying Psychology. David then transferred to Radford University and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology. Following that, they attended Vanderbilt University, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuroscience in 2013.
