Daan Vink

Evaluative Epidemiologist at CIRAD

Daan Vink is an experienced evaluative and veterinary epidemiologist with a diverse background in managing health programs and conducting research. Currently serving as an evaluative epidemiologist at CIRAD, Daan focuses on the performance of health programs and systems while supporting decision-making and risk management in disease control. Prior roles include veterinary epidemiologist at Intiga Consulting, program manager for the UKRI GCRF One Health Poultry Hub at the Royal Veterinary College, and senior veterinary consultant for the Australian Government Department of Agriculture and Water Resources. Daan has also held senior advisory positions at the New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries and managed significant projects in Mozambique. Daan holds a PhD in veterinary epidemiology from the University of Liverpool and a DVM from Utrecht University.
