Richard Baker has extensive work experience in sales and leadership roles. Richard began their career in 1987 at WHSmith, where they worked in the Head Office Store Operations Team. Richard then joined the Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Food (MAFF) as a System Administrator and Network Analyst. After that, they joined Oracle in 1996, where they held various roles, including Oracle UK Technical Support, Business Practices Assistant, UK and Ireland Pricing Manager, Special Bids and Complex Deal team, Business Development Manager Hosting and Online Services, and Alliances Account Manager. In 2003, they took a career break and became the Owner Proprietor of Bakers Bar in Dartmouth Devon. In 2006, they returned to Oracle as the Key Account Manager for UK Financial Services, Online Services & Media. Richard then transitioned to roles such as Engineered Systems XSR, Engineered Systems Commercial Industries, Retail, Online, Media & Gaming Lead, and Engineered Systems UK Sales Director. In 2015, they joined Data Intensity as the Engineered Systems/Converged Systems/Hybrid Cloud Sales Director before moving on to WANdisco as the Sales Director and Vice President Sales EMEA and APAC. Currently, they are working at Cirata as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of International Sales. Richard Baker has a proven track record in delivering revenue and margin goals and implementing successful sales strategies.

Richard Baker attended Light Hall School Solihull from 1981 to 1985, where they earned 9 O'Levels, including English and Mathematics. From 1985 to 1987, they studied at Solihull College of Technology and obtained a B/Tec National Diploma in Business & Financial Studies. Richard then pursued their higher education at Nottingham Trent University from 1992 to 1996, where they completed their BA (Hons) in Business Information Studies.
