Tamara Houweling

Tamara Houweling is an experienced professional in environmental law, currently working as an Omgevingsrecht specialist at CIRC since July 2023, coordinating permit procedures for biotransformers. Tamara has also been a Junior adviseur Omgevingsrecht at Ekwadraat since February 2022, serving as chair of the Works Council and specializing in permits under the Omgevingswet, particularly for renewable energy projects. Previous roles include coordinating battery permit procedures at AQ, conducting legal research during an internship at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, and holding various positions in education support and administration. Tamara holds a Bachelor of Laws from Tilburg University and is pursuing a Master's in Governance of Sustainability at Leiden University.
