Amin Karani

Amin Karani has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Amin started their career at Suffa Innovation Labs in 2017 as an Incubator, where they designed an Intelligent Exam Planner for the Examination department of DHA Suffa University. In 2019, they moved on to work as a Web Data Farming Engineer at GfK, where they defined parameters for web crawlers and communicated effectively with internal teams for market research purposes. Later that year, Amin joined CodeX as a Software Engineer and Python Developer, where they were involved in the development of Flask and Django APIs for products, as well as backend development, web scraping, web crawling, and API development. In 2021, they joined Cubix as a Software Engineer, where they worked on an application called FYMO (Food You Are Missing Out), aimed at connecting people via food and allowing them to share their experiences with restaurants. Amin also worked on BMG (PATENT PENDING RISK ASSESSMENT CALCULATOR), a cloud software that creates meaningful profiles of customers. Currently, Amin is working at Circadia Health as a Back End Developer.

Amin Karani completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from DHA Suffa University from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued their Intermediate education in Pre-Engineering from Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, Karachi, from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they completed their Matriculation in Science from Sultan Mohamed Shah Aga Khan School, Karachi, from 2011 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Amin Karani has also obtained several certifications. Amin completed the "Big Data Analytics Technique" certification from the Institute of Business Administration in May 2021. In April 2020, they obtained certifications in "Merging DataFrames with pandas" and "Web Scraping in Python" from DataCamp. In December 2019, they completed the certification course "Automate the Boring Stuff with Python Programming" from Udemy, as well as certifications in "Python Regular Expressions" from Udemy and "Python Programming" from HackerRank. Amin has also acquired basic knowledge of SQL through HackerRank but no specific month or year of completion is mentioned for these last two certifications.
