Samy Kazemi

Samy Kazemi has a diverse work experience in various roles related to sustainability and circular economy. In 2006, they worked as a Sustainability Consultant at Atkins before moving on to Ramboll in 2008, where they continued their work in sustainability consulting until 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they served as Co-Founder and Sustainability Managing Partner at Lafix Solutions. In 2014, they co-founded Royal Connoisseur and held the role of Managing Partner until 2016. In 2016, they founded IMPACT+S CONSULTING, a boutique consulting firm focused on sustainable development and circular economy. They then joined HumanNation in 2020 as an Associate Executive, working on integrating human-centered values and circular economy principles into cities and communities. In the same year, they also worked as an Associate Executive at SMARTINCIRCLES. Currently, they serve as the Built Environment Head at the Circle Economy Foundation.

Samy Kazemi pursued a Master's degree in Sustainable Design of the Built Environment at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) from USGBC - National Capital Region Chapter in 2008.
