Rahil Ahmed has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Rahil is currently the Head of Pharmacy Cancer Services at Circle Health Group, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, Rahil was the National Lead Pharmacist for Cancer and Electronic Prescribing at Circle Health Group from January 2016 to February 2023. Rahil also served as the Group Chief Pharmacist at Circle Health Group on an interim basis from March 2022 to September 2022. Before joining Circle Health Group, Rahil worked as the Lead Clinical Pharmacist at BMI Healthcare from September 2011 to December 2015. Rahil also gained experience as an Independent Pharmacist working as a Locum Pharmacist from January 2010 to August 2011. Earlier in their career, Rahil held the role of GI Cancer and Electronic Prescribing Support Pharmacist at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust from August 2004 to January 2010 and worked as an Oncology Pharmacist at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust in 2003.
Rahil Ahmed completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical and Health Services Pharmacy from The University of Manchester from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Marketing/Marketing Management from the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside between 1998 and 2000.
