Barbara Giannoni, CPA

Barbara Giannoni, CPA, has extensive work experience in accounting and finance. Barbara is currently working as a Controller at Circle, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, Barbara served as a Controller at AvenueHQ starting in October 2018.

From August 2017 to March 2018, Barbara worked as an Interim Accounting Manager at Coty.

Before joining Coty, Barbara worked at Chanel as a Senior Controller from January 2015 to February 2017. In this role, they oversaw the Controllership team, prepared financial statements, and managed cash operations and financing.

Barbara also had a Controller role at Yum! Brands from March 2014 to January 2015, where they managed the Controllership team, prepared financial statements, and oversaw the outsourced office.

Prior to Yum! Brands, Barbara worked as an Accounting Manager at Starbucks Coffee Company, where they managed the outsourced accounting office, prepared financial statements, and supported corporate auditing.

Barbara's previous experience includes working as an Accountant at Medtronic Comercial Ltda from February 2007 to January 2011, where they were responsible for the local accounting closing routine and managed profitability analysis.

Barbara started their career at Deloitte & Touche as an Accounting Supervisor from 2002 to 2007, managing multinational client portfolios and providing tax planning assistance.

Barbara began their professional journey as an Accounting Analyst at Assessor-Bordin Consultores Empresariais Ltda from 2000 to 2002.

Barbara started their career as a Trainee at Caixa Economica Federal in January 1997.

Barbara Giannoni, CPA, has an extensive education history in the field of accounting. Barbara completed their Professional Education Program (PEP) at Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from 2018 to 2020. During the same period, they also pursued an Accounting program at Langara College, specializing in Accounting and Finance.

Prior to these achievements, Barbara obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidade São Judas Tadeu in Brazil, from 2002 to 2004. Barbara also holds another Bachelor's degree in Accounting from FECAP, which they completed in 2000.

In terms of their high school education, Barbara completed a Technical Course in Accounting at ETECA - Escola Técnica Estadual Professor Camargo Aranha from 1996 to 1998.

In addition to their educational accomplishments, Barbara has obtained the CPA certification from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in March 2021.
