Sharon D.

Sharon D. has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, spanning over 15 years. Sharon currently holds the position of Chief Clinical Officer at Circle the City, a role they assumed in September 2022. Prior to this, Sharon served as the Director of Nursing at Circle the City from April 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining Circle the City, Sharon worked at El Rio Community Health Center as the Regional Health Center Director from May 2018 to April 2021.

Sharon also has experience at Tucson Medical Center, where they held various leadership roles. From September 2016 to May 2018, they worked as the Manager of Patient Care Services/Adult Medical Surgical. Additionally, Sharon served as the Manager of Patient Care Services/Orthopaedics from August 2014 to September 2016, where they had responsibilities such as operational oversight of a postsurgical orthopaedic inpatient unit and budget management.

Earlier in their career, Sharon held positions at The University of Arizona Medical Center. Sharon served as the Patient Relations Manager from June 2012 to August 2014, a role preceded by their tenure as an RN/Clinical Leader from November 2008 to June 2012. Sharon began their career as a Registered Nurse/Staff RN at the same institution from February 2007 to November 2008.

Sharon D.'s education history begins in 2005 when they attended Pima Community College and received their Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing. After completing their associate's degree, they pursued further education at Grand Canyon University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2010. Sharon D. continued their education at Grand Canyon University and completed their Master of Science in Nursing with Leadership Emphasis (MSN-L) degree in 2013.
