Nico Vierhout

Nico Vierhout has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the technology and telecommunications industry. Nico is currently serving as the Field CTO at CircleCI since May 2021. Prior to that, they co-founded Leaseauto.nl in 2018. Nico also served as the CEO of vamp.io from November 2017 until May 2021.

Before joining vamp.io, Nico worked at Liberty Global for a significant portion of their career. Nico held positions such as VP Application Development from 2012 to 2017, where they were responsible for Application Development for Liberty Global Europe. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Online, Internet & Telephony from 2008 to 2012, Director of Product Development from 2005 to 2008, VP of IP Development in 2007-2008, and Director of Business Development from 2003 to 2005.

Nico also gained experience at kpnqwest as the Vice President of Product Development from 1997 to 2003 and at A-Line Technologies / Worldonline as the Manager of Internet Products from 1994 to 1997.

Nico Vierhout's education history is as follows:

In 1989, they attended Enschede Polytechnic, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. Nico completed this program in 1994.

In 1998, Nico enrolled at Nyenrode Business University, where they obtained an MBA degree.

In 2014, they attended IMD and earned an Executive MBA with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.

Lastly, in 2017, Nico Vierhout briefly studied Disruptive Technology at Singularity University, although no degree was specified for this program.
