Samba Tiyyagura has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and site reliability. samba is currently working at CircleCI as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. Prior to that, they served as a Software Engineering Advisor at Otterby Inc. In 2017, Samba worked as a Software Engineer at Skrunch Technologies, where they were involved in developing a blockchain solution for transacting Canndollar cryptocurrency. samba also worked at Lightspeed Commerce as a Site Reliability Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer backend. During their time at Lightspeed Commerce, they contributed to various projects, including setting up a mono-repo based ecosystem for microservices and defining standards for APIs. Samba also worked as a Software Development Engineer at Shutterstock, where they contributed to the development and migration of features for the Premiumbeat V4 API. samba has prior experience as an SDET at Yellow Pages / Pages Jaunes – Canada and Radialpoint, where they worked on various projects related to mobile applications and chat applications. Samba began their career as a Network Technician at Augmented Networks Inc.

Samba Tiyyagura completed a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University between the years 2005 and 2009. Following that, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology at Centennial College. In 2012, Samba Tiyyagura obtained a certification as a Cisco Certified Network Associate from Cisco. Later, in February 2018, they received another certification, Elasticsearch Essential Training, from LinkedIn.
