Bathiya Lakmal Priyadarshana has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering, data analytics, and operations. Bathiya has held various leadership positions, including Director of Engineering & Operations at Circles.Life and Senior Manager, Software Engineering - Data Analytics and Insights at Wiley. Prior to these roles, they worked as Chief Architect - Big Data and Data Science at PickMe (Digital Mobility Solutions Lanka (PVT) Ltd) and as an Architect / Senior Manager - Big Data and Data Science at Zone24x7. Bathiya also has experience as a Lecturer at SLIIT and as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Zone24x7. With a strong background in technology and management, Bathiya has successfully contributed to the growth and development of various organizations throughout their career.

Bathiya Lakmal Priyadarshana has a diverse education history. In 1992-1996, they attended Mahanama College Colombo and completed the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination. From 1997 to 2005, they studied at Royal College Colombo and earned their GCE O/L and GCE A/L qualifications. In 2006-2009, Bathiya attended the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) and obtained a B.Sc Spec(Hons) degree in Information Technology, specializing in Computer Systems and Networking, with first-class honors. Bathiya further pursued their education in Computer Systems and Networking, earning a B.Sc degree from Curtin University in 2006-2008. Finally, from 2013 to 2015, Bathiya attended the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Apart from their formal education, Bathiya has also obtained several certifications focused on various subjects including Android development, Go programming, React.js, cloud computing, and software architecture, among others.
