Roopesh Singh

Roopesh Singh, Dr. (h.c.), has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Roopesh is currently the Director of Product Management at Circles.Life, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to joining Circles.Life, Roopesh worked as a Freelance Consultant from November 2022 to March 2023.

Before their freelance consulting work, Roopesh held various roles at Huawei Technologies India. Roopesh served as the Vice President of Product Management from January 2020 to October 2022, overseeing the E2E business ownership of the Shopping Ad Platform. Roopesh collaborated with geographically distributed teams, performed market and competitive analysis, and defined product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Roopesh also served as the Director of Product Management and as the Lead Architect & Head of Architecture Group during their tenure at Huawei, where they played a key role in strategizing and setting up the Digital BSS Product and Solutioning team, providing consulting services to clients, and developing go-to-market consulting service offerings.

Prior to their time at Huawei, Roopesh worked as a System Architect at CoSystems (I) Pvt. Ltd, where they were responsible for the design and development of the Media Gateway Framework. Roopesh also held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Aricent (Formerly Hughes Software Systems), where they worked on feature development and support for Class-5 Telecom Switch and the development of the Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) Software Stack.

Roopesh began their career at Schlumberger as a Solutions Engineer, focusing on the development of embedded software for industrial electricity metering equipment and designing system solutions for power grid corporations.

Roopesh Singh, Dr. (h.c.), holds an MS degree in Software Systems from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their B.E. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute Of Technology between 1991 and 1995. Additionally, Roopesh holds various certifications in Leadership Foundations, Agile at Work, Product Management, Design Thinking Mastery, Business Development Management, Business Process Framework (eTOM) Level-3 Certification, and TOGAF 9 Certification.
