Arika Rochelle App-Booth has been working in the mental health field since 2013. Arika Rochelle began their career at YWCA Northeast Indiana as the Director of Community Programs and Domestic Violence Family Case Manager. In 2016, they joined StepStone Family & Youth Services as a Home Resource Manager (Licensing Worker). In 2017, they became the Owner/Operator of Self Love & Style, LLC. Currently, they are a Support Group Facilitator for Circles - Online Group Support and a Mental Health Content Writer for Huntington University.

Arika Rochelle App-Booth holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Indiana Institute of Technology, obtained in 2014. Arika Rochelle is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Huntington University, expected to be completed in 2022. In July 2021, they obtained a Psychological First Aid certification from John Hopkins University.
