Rory Eakin

Rory Eakin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rory co-founded CircleUp in 2011 and served as the Chief Operating Officer, utilizing data and technology to provide capital and resources to emerging consumer brands. In this role, they helped build Helio, a proprietary technology platform that focuses on investing in promising entrepreneurs. Rory later transitioned to the Board of Directors at CircleUp in December 2019. Prior to their time at CircleUp, Rory worked as the Director of Investments at Humanity United from 2007 to 2011. Rory also worked as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group from 2005 to 2007 and as a Teacher at US.ZA Education Initiative from 2001 to 2003. Rory's more recent experiences include serving as a Catalyst at KaiPod Learning, where they support educators in opening their own microschools, and working as a Writer at Ideas in Motion.

Rory Eakin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy from Princeton University. Rory also has a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Cape Town. Additionally, Rory Eakin has completed an MBA at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
