Colin Parent serves as the Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel of Circulate San Diego since November 2014, playing a pivotal role in advocating for housing, affordability, and mobility in the San Diego region. Previously, Colin held various positions, including City Councilmember in La Mesa from December 2016 to December 2024 and Director of Policy at the San Diego Housing Commission, where responsibilities included advancing policy at multiple government levels. Colin's background includes serving as Director for External Affairs at the California Department of Housing and Community Development, appointed by Governor Jerry Brown, and roles in legal firms such as DLA Piper. An alumnus of New York University School of Law, Colin also holds a B.A. in Political Science from UC San Diego.
