Steve Small

Steve Small is an accomplished technology leader with diverse experience in data engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Data Engineering Manager at Cirkul, Steve previously held the role of VP Engineering at NeighborSchools, where significant enhancements to the analytics environment and engineering function were achieved. Notable past positions include Principal Software Engineer at EverQuote, where Steve collaborated on analytics solutions, and CTO/VP of Engineering at Hopjump, steering technology strategy and addressing performance issues. With a strong foundation in computer science from the College of the Holy Cross, Steve has also contributed to various organizations as an advisor and consultant, demonstrating expertise in technical infrastructure, product development, and recruitment processes.
