Aidan McArdle

Aidan McArdle has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. From 2018 to present, they have been employed at Cirrus Data Solutions Inc., where they currently serve as Vice President of Technology. In this role, they lead a global team to solve complex problems with great technology, develops global services programs, and leads all aspects of pre-sales, product development, and partner management for major initiatives. Aidan also serves as EMEA Partner Enablement Director, helping partners and customers deliver success with their software.

Prior to Cirrus Data Solutions Inc., Aidan McArdle worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from 2000 to 2018. During their tenure, they held the role of Worldwide Storage Practice Lead, a member of HPE's Worldwide Storage Consulting Team. In this role, they were the technology lead for Storage and Data Migration, and developed global services programs and the best selling consulting service with HPE Storage. Aidan also served as Senior Technology Consultant, focussing on SAN, Storage, HP-UX, Linux, Data Migration, Integrity VM, HA Solutions, Ibrix, EVA, XP Arrays, and 3PAR. Additionally, they had vast knowledge in the areas of Itanium and HP9000, and implemented enterprise scale SAN and Storage solutions with data migration across a wide range of OS platforms. Aidan also held the role of Mission Critical Systems Engineer.

Aidan McArdle received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Control Systems Engineering from Technological University Dublin from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended St. Benildus College from 1991 to 1996. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Scality as a Certified Delivery Engineer in October 2016, HP 3PAR Storage from HP Expert One / Pearson Vue, and HP-UX CSA.
