Melanie Gupte

Melanie Gupte, PhD, is an accomplished quality manager currently overseeing design and operations quality at Cirtec Medical, with a focus on two sites in California and Arizona. Prior to this role, Melanie served as a principal reliability engineer and senior design quality engineer at Medtronic, where contributions included the development of drug-coated balloon catheters and support throughout the design control process. Experience at Biotectix, LLC involved leading quality assurance efforts and implementing quality systems for ISO 13485 certification. Melanie's academic background includes a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan, where research centered on synthetic polymer scaffolds for tissue regeneration, as well as a BS from Purdue University. Early research experiences include internships and positions at Hollister Incorporated and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
