Sales Executive, Strategic Accounts 

We are actively seeking a dynamic and motivated sales team member to collaborate closely with our regional leads in expanding our presence in the US, specifically on the East Coast. The primary objective entails engaging with prominent global enterprises and mid-sized companies. The ideal candidate should have a robust network of relationships in the procurement field and be capable of working independently. With support from senior leadership, they will generate interest in the market and successfully secure business with our target clients.

Responsibilities: 

You will have the complete responsibility to develop and build a sales pipeline as a result of inbound leads and self-identified opportunities.

This is done by:

  • Identifying, qualifying, and managing opportunities with a focus on new customer acquisition.
  • Generating new leads to supplement the existing pipeline.
  • Creating  a strong value offer and proposals.
  • Negotiating with Procurement leadership for commitment and contracting.
  • Managing the relationship and satisfaction with existing customers.
  • Developing a sales plan to secure new business and meet quota.
  • Providing consistent feedback on market trends, competitor products, and prospect/client feedback on product and services.
  • Tracking opportunities through the pipeline documenting each stage with deals.

Secondary responsibilities will allow for opportunities to be involved in other areas of the business:

  • Helping to develop the commercial objectives and strategy.
  • Contributing to the marketing activities (case studies, demos, sales documents, events).
  • Recruiting, training, and developing other sales team members as they join the team.

Your skills and experience: 

  • Your background: experience in SaaS Sales with strong focus on procurement or as a Procurement professional with a desire to work in Sales
  • Excellent network within the procurement community
  • Ability to conduct effective discussions and negotiations with executives, encompassing both procurement and finance, and demonstrate familiarity with their daily operations, challenges, and goals
  • Proven history of meeting/exceeding sales quotas
  • Proficiency in the sales process and account planning
  • Experience building and delivering value prop at all levels (CPO, VPs of Procurement)
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills, including excellent written and presentation abilities
