Darlene McNamara is currently the Sr. Director of Customer Delivery at Cisco. In their previous role as Sr. Customer Support Engineer at Teloquent Communications, they were responsible for Level 3 technical support, managing 24 x 7 emergency on call rotations, leading the creation and adherence to Client Services procedures, training and mentoring new support engineers, and being the Remote System Administrator for various customer environments. Darlene has also cooperated with the SQA department in implementation and testing of beta products, reported product "bugs" and implemented fixes, conducted planning meetings for customer installations, created and reviewed installation project plans, diagnosed and investigated UNIX and Windows processing problems and applied solutions to increase company efficiency, ensured network, system and data availability and integrity through preventative maintenance and upgrades, and developed work-flow charts and diagrams to ensure production team compliance with client deadlines.
