Jay Iyer

Jay Iyer is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in various engineering roles at Cisco since January 1998, currently serving as a Distinguished Engineer in the Security Business Group, focusing on cloud and network security products. Previous roles at Cisco include Distinguished Engineer for Video Systems, where responsibilities included technology and architecture for service provider video systems, as well as roles in the Mobility Business Group and Switching Products. Prior to joining Cisco, Jay Iyer was a Technical Lead at Hughes Software Systems from September 1993 to September 1996. Educational qualifications include a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, a Master of Science in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, and a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from HEC Paris.
