Soundaryaa Ponnivalavan

Soundaryaa Ponnivalavan is an experienced Design Verification Engineer currently working at Cisco since August 2025. Prior to this, Soundaryaa held similar roles at Apple from June 2023 to July 2025, focusing on design verification within the Wireless connectivity silicon team. Soundaryaa's academic background includes a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, where coursework encompassed areas such as Embedded System Architecture and ASIC Verification. During a pre-silicon validation internship at Intel Corporation, Soundaryaa contributed to the verification of the Last Level Cache sub-IP for NextGen Intel Xeon processors. Soundaryaa also gathered experience as a Verification Engineer at Microchip Technology Inc. and has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics from SSN College of Engineering.
