Anita Duenas

Anita Duenas has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Anita began their career as a PR Assistant at Bender, Goldman & Helper PR in 1993, where they worked until 1994. Anita then joined PR Newswire in 1994 and held various roles including News Editor, Technical Customer Support Supervisor, Lotus Notes Developer and Administrator, and Senior Business Systems Analyst/Certified Scrum Master. In 2018, Anita joined Cision as Manager of the Business Systems Analysis-Reporting Team/Certified Scrum Master. Anita later transitioned into the role of Engineering Manager/Certified Scrum Master in 2020 and currently holds the position of Product Manager since March 2022.

Anita Duenas holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mass Communications, which they obtained from Florida International University during the period of 1990-1992. Prior to that, they earned an associate degree (A.A.) in Liberal Arts from the University of Florida, where they attended from 1988 to 1991. Anita completed their high school education at Rosarian Academy from 1984 to 1988. In addition to their formal education, Anita has obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include the Textio Equitable Performance Feedback certification from Textio in October 2022, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021, the Social Media Marketing Foundations certification from LinkedIn in April 2021, the Certified ScrumMaster certification from BadgeCert in December 2008, and the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from Scrum Alliance, also obtained in December 2008.
