Christina Otero

Christina Otero has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Christina is currently a Senior Account Manager at Cision, a global consumer and media intelligence platform. Prior to this role, they worked as an Account Manager at Cision for two years.

Before joining Cision, Christina was a Corporate & Business Client Account Manager at Open Connection, where they managed client accounts for telecommunications company TELUS.

Christina also has experience in the advertising industry, having worked as a Business Development Manager at Highway Media: Mobile Billboards, where they focused on out-of-home mobile advertising.

In addition, Christina has worked as an Account Manager at The Original Fusion, a full-service creative group based in Vancouver, and as an On Air Talent & Event Marketing Ambassador at Rogers Media for six years.

Earlier in their career, they held customer service roles at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and Westin Hotels & Resorts. Christina also gained marketing experience as a Marketing Coordinator at Recon Instruments and as an Account Executive and Marketing and Promotions Assistant at Astral Radio.

Christina's earliest work experience was at Jim Pattison Broadcast Group, where they served as a Marketing and Promotions Assistant and On Air Talent for four years.

Christina Otero attended Toronto Metropolitan University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their field of study was Arts & Contemporary Studies, with a focus on Culture & Entertainment and Marketing. In 2009, they enrolled at the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts (VanArts) for a year, specializing in Radio and Television.
