Andrew Fuge

Andrew Fuge is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in problem loan management and distressed debt across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Problem Loan Management at CIT since April 2022, Andrew leads a team responsible for managing the company’s problematic commercial loan portfolio. Prior to this, Andrew held a similar position at Lloyds Banking Group for over 13 years, focusing on strategic and relationship management of distressed debt. Andrew's earlier career includes significant roles at Bank of Scotland, where responsibilities spanned from developing a national banking initiative to leading retail and corporate operations. Andrew began professional training in credit at National Westminster Bank, contributing to the establishment of the Sectoral Credit Policy Unit. Andrew holds a BA Hons in Modern History & Political Science from the University of Birmingham and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
