Edwin Suresh

Edwin Suresh has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Edwin started their career as an Economics Research Assistant at the Becker Friedman Institute in 2017. Edwin then went on to work as an Astrophysics Research Intern at Northwestern University and also cofounded the Midwest Math Circle in the same year. In 2018, Edwin worked as an Economics Research Assistant at the University of Chicago and continued their role as a cofounder of the Midwest Math Circle until 2018.

In 2019, Edwin joined the University of Chicago as a Math REU Student/Researcher, where they conducted research on the basis of the Black-Scholes model through Itô Calculus and Stochastic Differential Equations. Edwin submitted a 35-page paper on the topic, which was reviewed by Professor Peter May and posted on the university's website. Also in 2019, Edwin worked as a Quantitative Trading Intern at Finalyze Capital.

In 2020, Edwin became a Quantitative Analyst Intern at Group One Trading, LP. Edwin gained further experience in the field of finance before joining Citadel Securities in 2021. At Citadel Securities, they first worked as a Semi-Systematic Trading Intern before transitioning to their current role as an Incoming Semi-Systematic Trader.
