Ilona Ambartsumyan

Ilona Ambartsumyan began their work experience as a Senior Analyst of Mass Market Marketing at MegaFon from April 2012 to July 2013. Ilona then joined the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences in May 2018 as a Peter O'Donnell Postdoctoral Fellow. In January 2020, Ilona Ambartsumyan transitioned to their current role as a Quantitative Researcher at Citadel Securities.

Ilona Ambartsumyan obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Applied Physics and Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) between 2011 and 2013. Ilona'seducation at MIPT also includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Applied Physics and Mathematics, which they completed from 2007 to 2011.

In terms of additional certifications, Ilona Ambartsumyan obtained the SIE/Series 57 certification from FINRA in May 2020. Ilona also holds an IBM Data Science Professional Certificate Specialization awarded by Coursera in May 2019.
