Jonathan Armstrong

Jonathan Armstrong has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Senior Software Engineer at Citadel Securities since April 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Boeing from 2013 to 2020. During their time at Boeing, Jonathan held various positions, including Test Requirements and Evaluation Engineer 3, Test and Evaluation Engineer Level 2, and Test and Evaluation Engineer Level 1. Jonathan was responsible for developing critical software frameworks, leading software development projects, and implementing domain-specific programming languages to enhance efficiency. Before joining Boeing, Jonathan worked at the University of Miami from 2007 to 2012. Jonathan held roles as a Research Analyst, Graduate Student, Research Assistant, and Teachers Assistant. In these roles, they conducted research, developed algorithms, created data analysis programs, and assisted in teaching physics labs.

Jonathan Armstrong completed their education at various prestigious institutions. Jonathan pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Miami, starting in 2004 and finishing in 2007. Jonathan continued their academic journey at the same institution, where they completed their PhD in Physics from 2007 to 2012. To further enhance their knowledge and expertise, Jonathan pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Columbia University from 2017 to 2020.
