Laurent Violeau has extensive work experience in the finance and quantitative research industry. Laurent started their career as a Trader at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2007, where they worked until 2009. Following that, they joined J.P. Morgan as a Vice President in Quantitative Research in 2013 and remained in that role until 2017. Laurent then worked at G-Research as a Developer from 2017 to 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Quantitative Developer at Citadel Securities, a position they have held since 2020.
Laurent Violeau completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Applied Mathematics from Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2004 to 2006. Laurent then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Applied Mathematics from the same university, graduating in 2010. Laurent later enrolled in a Doctorat program in Applied Mathematics at Université Côte d'Azur from 2010 to 2013, although they did not complete the degree.
In addition to their formal education, Laurent has obtained several certifications from Coursera.
