Data Sourcing Strategy at Citadel Securities

Lyoe Lee began their work experience as a Summer Intern at Ernst & Young in June 2008. They then worked as an Intern at Bain & Company from June 2009 to August 2009. After that, Lee joined Colby College as a Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, and Goldfarb Scholar from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, Lee worked as a Course Instructor at the University of Maryland College. Lee then joined Bloomberg LP and served as a Senior Data Analyst for the Greater China Region from 2013 to 2016. They were later promoted to Data Team Leader for Asia-Pacific Economics, Localization & Profiles and held this role until 2018. Following this, Lee took on the role of Data Strategy (Garden leave) at Two Sigma from 2018 to 2023. Currently, Lee is employed at Citadel Securities as a Data Sourcing & Strategy professional, starting in 2023.

Lyoe Lee began their education journey by completing the International Baccalaureate program at Li Po Chun United World College from 2005 to 2007. Afterward, they pursued a double major in Economics, with a concentration in Financial Markets, and Mathematics at Colby College, earning their Bachelor of Arts degree in 2011.

In 2013, Lyoe went on to attend the University of Maryland, where they obtained their Master's degree in Economics. During their time at the university, they specialized in International Finance and Public Finance.

Seeking further knowledge and skills, Lyoe attended General Assembly in 2017 to study Data Science, though they did not pursue a specific degree. In 2022, they engaged in further educational development by completing the AWS Machine Learning Foundation program at Udacity, specializing in Machine Learning.
