Matthew Chong

Matthew Chong has worked in various roles within the finance and technology industry. In 2012, they started their career as a Financial Software Developer at SGGG Portfolio Systems, where they worked until April. Later that year, they worked as an Algorithmic Trading Developer at ITG for a few months. In 2013, they joined TD Securities as an Automated Trading Developer for a brief period. Since July 2014, Matthew has been working at Citadel Securities, initially as a Software Engineer and later transitioning to the role of Rates Trader in September 2018.

Matthew Chong attended the University of Waterloo from 2009 to 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science with a focus on Systems Design Engineering. Matthew also participated in the co-op program during their studies. Additionally, Matthew obtained certifications in Series 63 and Series 7 from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
