Sam Piazza

Sam Piazza has work experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Citadel Securities since November 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Infrastructure Engineer at Citadel LLC from June 2018 to November 2019. Sam also has experience at the University of Michigan, where they were a member of the Men's Varsity Ice Hockey Team from August 2014 to May 2018 and worked as a Research Assistant from May 2015 to August 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Financial Trading Intern at DTE Energy from May 2017 to August 2017, where they gained knowledge of the natural gas market and developed a trading algorithm based on historical data.

Sam Piazza completed a Master's degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago, from the year 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, Sam obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, with a four-year duration starting in 2014 and ending in 2018.
