Samir Naqvi

Samir Naqvi has a diverse range of work experience. Samir began their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Clay Piggy in 2016. Samir then worked as a Math Instructor at Mathnasium - The Math Learning Center from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they became an SAT/Math Tutor at Wyzant.

In 2018, Samir held several positions. Firstly, they were a Data Science Intern at Thomson Reuters from May to August. Samir then became the President and Co-Founder of Aurora Consulting from March 2018 to November 2019. Additionally, they worked as an Undergraduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley College of Engineering from August 2018 to December 2020.

In 2019, Samir gained further experience as a Securities Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs from May to August. Samir also worked as a Data Science Intern at Oath from August to November.

In 2020, they were a Trading Intern at Citadel Securities from June to August. Samir has since resumed their work at Citadel Securities as a Quant Trader, starting in April 2021.

Samir Naqvi's education history begins with their high school education at Coppell High School, which they attended from 2014 to 2017. After completing high school, they enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley in 2017 and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). Samir has obtained Basics of Investment Knowledge Level 1 and Level 2 certifications, as well as Personal Finance Level 1 and Level 2 certifications, from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas, although specific dates for obtaining these certifications are not provided.
