Shumao Zhang

Shumao Zhang's work experience includes a role as a Quantitative Researcher at Citadel Securities starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Quantitative Research Intern at Citadel Securities from June 2021 to August 2021. They also gained experience as a Research Intern at ExxonMobil from July 2020 to September 2020, and as a Research Intern at Microsoft from February 2017 to June 2017.

Shumao Zhang completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Applied & Computational Mathematics from Caltech. This academic journey took place from 2017 to 2022. Prior to that, Shumao earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics from Tsinghua University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Shumao Zhang's education began with their high school graduation from Chengdu NO.7 High School in 2013. The high school curriculum focused on Natural Sciences and Engineering.
