Yintai

Yintai Ma has a diverse work experience in the field of quantitative research, machine learning, and algorithm development. Yintai started their career as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University, where they focused on deep learning theory and developed innovative deep learning models for sequential data prediction.

Following that, Yintai worked at Allstate as a Researcher, where they contributed to multiple deep learning research projects and developed a new variant of a GAN model for generating photorealistic synthetic videos. Yintai then interned at Apple as a Machine Learning Engineer, where they developed computer vision-based deep learning models for automation in manufacturing and optimized logistics problems in the supply chain using reinforcement learning algorithms.

Yintai also gained research experience at Google as a Student Researcher and at DiDi as an Algorithm Research Intern. At DiDi, they developed a state-of-the-art deep reinforcement learning agent for order dispatching and a semi-supervised prediction model for traffic flow. Yintai'swork at DiDi resulted in an increase in gross merchandise volume and valuable contributions to publications in the transportation research field.

Yintai's work experience also includes a role at Citadel Securities as a Quantitative Researcher, where they conceptualize valuation strategies, develops mathematical models, and conducts research and statistical analysis for trading models and signals. Additionally, they have experience in network design and traffic sign recognition algorithms from their time at the University of Michigan and Tsinghua University.

Yintai Ma began their education at Zhuhai No.1 High School from 2008 to 2011. After completing high school, they attended Tsinghua University from 2011 to 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, Yintai Ma enrolled at Northwestern University in 2015 and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Industrial Engineering in 2021.
