Zhi Yang Tham has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. They started their career as a Summer Intern at Wilmar International in 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Summer Analyst at J.P. Morgan. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as an FICC eSales Representative at J.P. Morgan. In 2019, they transitioned to the role of FICC eSales in South Asia, and later became the Head of Southeast Asia, India & Taiwan for FICC eSales at J.P. Morgan. They remained in this role until 2022. Currently, Zhi Yang Tham is employed at Citadel Securities as a member of the APAC FX Market Making team in Citadel Execution Services, starting in November 2022.
Zhi Yang Tham completed a Bachelor of Business Management and a Bachelor of Science in Economics at Singapore Management University from 2012 to 2016. In 2013, they also participated in the Pembroke King's Programme at the University of Cambridge, focusing on Finance and Economics. During the fall of 2014, Zhi Yang Tham took part in the Fall Exchange Programme at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, further specializing in Finance and Economics.
In addition to their formal education, Zhi Yang Tham obtained certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2018, they completed the Oxford Algorithmic Trading Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Furthermore, in 2020, they obtained certification in the Oxford Fintech Programme, also at Saïd Business School. Most recently, in 2022, Zhi Yang Tham acquired a certification in Applied Business Analytics from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
