Carl Rietschel

Carl Rietschel currently serves as COO of Equity Model Research at Citadel, starting in August 2023. Prior to this role, Rietschel worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from October 2014 to July 2023, progressing through various positions including Project Leader, Consultant, Associate, and Junior Associate, with a brief period on educational leave. Additionally, Rietschel gained experience as a Quantitative Analyst at DSAM PARTNERS LLP in July 2019, focusing on developing systematic trading strategies. Previous roles include an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at UBS Investment Bank in July 2013 and a Researcher at the Climate Service Center in July 2012, where research on climate change topics was conducted. Rietschel holds an MBA and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Oxford, and a BA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
