Srivats Shukla

Srivats Shukla is an accomplished professional in the field of electrical and electronics engineering with extensive experience in data science and energy systems. Currently serving as an Analyst at Citadel since November 2023, Srivats previously held multiple significant roles at Utopus Insights, including Principal Data Scientist, Lead R&D Engineer, and Postdoctoral Fellow from March 2017 to November 2023. Earlier, Srivats contributed to IBM Research as an Energy Specialist and Research Intern, specializing in the modeling and simulation of utility-scale electrical networks. Internships at NRECA and GE Energy further enriched Srivats' expertise in powerflow analysis and firmware engineering. Academically, Srivats holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree from Virginia Tech, as well as a Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University).
